The marketing company came up with a solution to the problem of businesses sourcing and converting traffic from social, only to have visitors hit their page and go back to social for more proof. The marketing company turned to Right&Above for its consulting and engineering capabilities to develop the system to invite potential customers into business by showing browsers exactly what they want to see. Whether it is authentic content or raving reviews, for the first time businesses get to choose when and where they see it. This helps turn social media browsers into customers.
The system allows for displaying reviews the businesses collected directly from customers on their websites, as well as imported reviews, and managing all of them from their Dashboard. The main idea is to give full visibility of all reviews from multiple sources in a single management dashboard, saving time from logging in to various systems. The system displays ratings and reviews from Google, Facebook and Instagram.
The marketing company and Right&Above partnered to develop the system to provide website visitors an avenue to connect with business.
– Tracking. During onboarding user is required to install the solution by either A) Automatic Plugin Installation or B) Manual HTML Installation. During this procedure, user will be installing the system pixel (tracking) which we used to manufacture reports in Website Insights.
– Reporting and Dynamic Button WHAT’S NEW. During onboarding, user is required to connect platforms (Google, Facebook) to manufacture Social Insights.
– Call-to-Actions & Backend. Part of the main offering is the ability to
convert visitors into leads via the website widget (“experience”). In order to do so, user can inject call-to-actions on the front-end and collect that information in the back-end. We designed a back-end UI element to house this information and implemented logic that is either controllable (or uncontrollable) by the user.
– Widget Builder. With the addition of call-to-actions, there are many options for users to choose from when it comes to what to display in the experience. Our team created/developed a mechanism to allow users to control what platforms are connected and what type of content shows up in the experience. This builder also allows the user to tailor the front end widget including color, shape of “What’s New” Button. Widget builder allows users to preview what their live feed would look like.
Technologies used: HTML, CSS, jQuery, JS, PUGjs, Node, Express, Google business API, graph API
As a result, we successfully implemented the system which allows to display information from social networks and manage it in one place. This way, businesses can bring relevant content to website visitors and open a new chapter starting for the way people with websites use social.
