Right&Above provided technology-enabled breakthrough solutions to help doctors and patients monitor, treat, and manage illnesses more effectively. We developed the solution which integrates hand-held devices, computers, and the Internet, and offers several features.
Record food (for weight control) or smoking (for smoking cessation) cravings, or pain associated with illnesses or treatments in real time
The solution enables patients to record sensations, symptoms, or behaviors they experience in real time with the click of a button. Upon connecting the handheld device to a computer’s USB port, it generates a graphics document of experienced discomfort levels which can be selectively shared with healthcare professionals to help isolate discomfort factors and to affect treatment.
Provide access to critical health information
The system empowers consumers to acquire, provide secure access to, and maintain their medical records and history. The data is downloaded and stored within a secure remote database. Users can view their pain history online, print the charts, share results with doctors, update profiles, and manage their handheld devices.
Facilitate the timely consumption of proper medications
The solution helps patients use proper medications at the right time. Upon acknowledgement of a device alert by the user, the proper medications from a handheld dispenser are provided to the patient, thus increasing compliance with prescribed regimens and reducing health risks associated with foregoing pills. Computer software that we developed is used to define the prescription regimens including medications, dosage, and dispensing times.
