Challenge:
Our client, a cybersecurity services provider, monitors on-premises, cloud, and SaaS infrastructure by integrating with the tools that their customers already have. The company offers a cloud-native security suite to augment existing tools, automate remediation, and provide analytics that are meaningful to security executives.
The goal of the project has been to prevent users from having to enter their credentials at every login to multiple services and have the help center available as the platform widget for users to create, view, and respond to tickets. The challenge was to build our own Identity Provider (IDP) module into the system to make it easier for users to log in to the platform and its dependent services like the support desk.
Solution:
Right&Above developed a cybersecurity solution that simplifies the user experience. They no longer need to repetitively input the credentials, as the platform allows easy access to multiple services.
Furthermore, the platform includes an efficient admin portal for upgraded management, providing adaptability for new cybersecurity vendor integrations. A role management system enables platform admins to create custom roles, effectively separating customers from administrators.
Simultaneously, the customer portal, featuring HUD, Dashboard, ticket management system, and Analytics pages, provides access to tickets and cyber threat levels. In terms of information storage, a Client Knowledge Base (CKB) has been implemented, offering critical data about organizations and customers.
A notable feature of the project is the subscription management functionality, allowing the platform to restrict or grant access to information and analytics based on subscription levels. An information management system based on tags plays a crucial role in controlling access to information, providing a means to regulate data visibility and ensure security. The application, built on a microservices architecture, ensures scalability and flexibility.
As part of the project, Chatwoot with AI functionality was implemented to enhance the cybersecurity platform’s performance. Technical upgrades, including an advanced Authenticator module and MongoDB infrastructure, represent a commitment to innovative technology. Quality assurance (QA & UAT) takes center stage, ensuring the comprehensive deployment and functionality of the platform.
Result:
Right&Above provides personalized analytics and expert guidance to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats and develop a roadmap for future enhancements. The security platform uses a modern approach where the application isn’t monolith but based on microservices architecture. Users are no longer required to remember dozens of credentials across many systems. With a focus on simplicity and open-source flexibility, the customer engagement suite offers various features designed to streamline conversations and elevate customer support.
